By any chance, are the characters from the "Where Girls Are Made" EXCLUSIVE STORE unavailable in the currently free "unlocked" version? If so, do I need to support the project somewhere—like on Patreon (is it being updated?) or SubscribeStar (even though it's currently under review)?
Where Girls Are Made is a adult game you can play on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android. Join the adventure and see what makes this adult title worth your time.

Where Girls Are Made is a unique story simulation game with role-playing and visual novel elements set in a dystopian future where the world is entirely populated by lustful men and all women are extinct and rather replace by artificial androids conveniently called "girls".
You take the role of a male protagonist working night shift on one of the factories that make these android girls. Your job is to make sure that all android products are perfect and not defective according to the client's orders.

As mentioned, this game is somewhat a simulation with bits of reading and visual novel. There are a few sections in the game:
The first section is the "Factory", where the player earns money through working. Their goal in this section is to earn as much money as possible before their shift ends. Each action the player performs consumes energy. Once your energy is depleted, you lose the ability to correctly approve or reject android products and risk yourself on making errors. Errors reduce your salary at the end of your shift.
Once your shift ends, you'll have the opportunity to go home or go to the android market.
On the "Market", the player can purchase custom designed androids that they can take home, assuming they have enough money to do so.
The "Apartment" is where majority of the game's lewd scenes are. If the player goes home, they can sleep and replenish their energy and start working again. If the player purchased androids in the market, they will appear in the "bedroom" area where the player can do naughty things with them.

- Unique gameplay
- Dynamic artwork on the factory
- Illustrated visual novel scenes
- Animated Lewd scenes
- Beautifully designed android girls
- 6000+ possible girl boxes
- Immersive atmosphere
A lot is currently planned for this game.
- More lewd scenes
- More android waifus
- And anime-based androids
- Brand-new sections
- New cities
- Latest game mechanics

The amount of grinding you need to do is insanely much to the few content there actually is, soft locked in the 2nd zone and honestly the story pieces they give you don't outweigh the gameplay loop.- No gallery- No option to ease the grind after advancing the next zone- your "Promotion" is worse than the first job, I only used it to advance in the story and had to grind in the first job, still took me hours to unlock the android- Each android = 3 animations and took me around 3-5h of just grinding to unlock them.- You can softlock in the 2nd zone.I'm baffled this was a paid product before.
I fancy the story! It doesn't hold back on letting the characters be sentient and having self-advocacy (Though im not going to be dense in telling you it's close to feministic self-advocacy.) A bit immersive if you expect ontological android genre schticks, however not immersive if you expect this to be a slideshow sex game with slutty androids! They are indeed slutty, but if you choke down the narrative that is paired alongside it can diminish the appeal if you like your fictional women submissive and ingratiable~~ the scenes are hot and while the peripheral stuff like mini-games and special encounters are a wee bit lacking, the amount of variety and positions make up for it. PLUS this touches on my favorite fetishes lolol, we got domestic/voyeristic play and free use packaged in one.Overall for now, I would give it an a 7.8, my one critique is on the narrative, its needs some prologue to help with the narrative as I do have to admit its a bit windy and convoluted, but that wouldn't be as a bad (or even bad) with some nice prologue. Kudos to the dev(s), you guys have a nice catalog :3
Been playing the itch version and while I love it, there seems to be some unintended behavior occasionally? The music volume slider in the settings menu does not work at all (the sfx and master volume do appear to). From the panels in the scenes menus, it seems like there might be a finishing scene? But these are never visible other than the thumbnails.
